TOL KIDS
Luz Carumba, 6, is one of eleven children. Her father works as a maintenance worker while her mother stays at home to tend to the kids. The family have hardly enough money for food, much less resources to go to school. For a year now, Luz has been attending Sunrise Christian School and have really enjoyed going to her class and play with other kids. It is heart warming to see her when I visit the campus in Butuan. She and her TREE OF LIFE sponsored siblings seem so happy even in poverty. Their parents are ever so grateful. They now feel hope in the future of their kids. TOL is making a difference in the lives and future of this family. We now have about 100 TOL kids in the Philippines, most of them still in need of sponsors. For 83 cents a day, you can send a little Filipino kid to school. For $25 dollars a month you can pay for a kids tuition, uniforms, shoes, school supplies, and sometimes even food. Only 300 dollars supports a child for the full year. This may be less than your monthly car payment, or your monthly grocery bill. Why not join supporting these children and helping them have a great year of school. Maybe you can’t provide the full $300 for the year, but you can join in with someone else or even consider a one time gift. We hope that you can be a positive influence in the life of a kid half way around the world.
